Terms of Service

These are a short, practical set of terms for using Ledger, a hobby project, not a commercial product.

In short
  • You're responsible for your account and what you post. Keep any credentials (password, calendar feed link) private.
  • This is a hobby project with no uptime guarantee or warranty, so don't rely on it as your only copy of anything important.
  • You can export or delete your own data anytime; access may be suspended for accounts that break these terms.

Your account

  • You are responsible for the account you use to sign in (whether that's Discord or a local username/password) and for keeping any credentials tied to it private, including your password and your personal calendar feed link.
  • If you were given a local (non-Discord) account by an admin, they can reset its password or remove it at their discretion.
  • Signing in with Discord means you also need to meet Discord's own age and account requirements.

Your content

  • You keep ownership of your notes, characters, and bills. By using the service, you allow the app to store and display them for your account.
  • Do not use Ledger to store or share content that is illegal, abusive, or harmful.

Bills & reminders

  • Bill tracking, due-date forecasts, and Discord DM/digest reminders are provided for convenience only; they're not a substitute for your bank, a bill-pay service, or your own records.
  • Reminder delivery depends on Discord's API and a bot staying online, and isn't guaranteed. Don't rely on Ledger as your sole reminder for anything with real financial consequences.

Service availability

  • This is a hobby project, so the service may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time, and is provided as-is with no warranty of any kind.
  • We may suspend or remove access if the service is used in a way that breaks these terms or harms other users.

Your data controls

  • You can export or permanently delete everything under your account yourself, anytime, from the settings menu; see the Privacy Policy for details.
